Words Of Welcome
Words of welcome
The irony that I have begun writing a newsletter on moving joyfully through life whilst in a mildly anxious and depressed state is not lost on me.
Perhaps, however, that is why it is the perfect time to begin. Although sometimes my brain wants to show me the darker moments of my life, my camera roll doesn’t lie.
Even a brief scroll through photos for a suitable profile picture shows evidence of a life well lived, albeit with about ten hospital selfies peppered through them.
This newsletter is all about being a bon vivant.e with a modern twist. There’ll be no wine reviews for sure (5 years sober and counting). But there will be notes on nature and magic, everything big and small that makes life beautiful, helps keep me in the present moment and grateful for the abundance that surrounds me.
I follow the wheel of the year, 8 festivals comprising of the solstices and equinoxes and the Celtic cross-quarter festivals of Imbolc, Bealtine, Lughnasadh and Samhain.
With Samhain being commonly recognised as a sort of witch’s new year I bring you here my resolution. To live in line with my values of peace, love, nature, magic and social justice. To write as the inspiration from Mother Earth flows and to add in the odd bit of French here and there.
Thank you for reading, welcome, and I will be back soon with seasonal musings and ideas for connection and celebration.
Blessed be.
